"Education is a marathon not a sprint"
anon

reflection: what the person is trying to say is you should know the difference between wanting to actually learn and focus and take a while to learn things rather than to just get an A in the class and copying everyone's work. for example college, i want to go for my PhD however i must realize that school is going to be a hassle and take into consideration that classes might be hard. i will sacrifice my time and any other time i can to learn the material. you can't just read it once and say oh i don't get it. You must keep thinking positive  getting my degree is a marathon, which means it will take a while. it isn't a sprint where you can easily get it.
