i believe that Margaret is trying to say is that for example if a girl is a "nerd" and she is being bullied and many people don't stand up for her.. that you should be the one who should stand up for her because it isn't fair to her. be the one who makes a difference. choose the right and many people might not like that decision but who cares as long as you know what you are doing is the right thing.
