Reflection: I believe that this quote is trying to say that you shouldn't always just count on yourself but to have a little of reliance towards others. For example it is better to have a study party with a group of people from your class rather than to study all alone and be bored. When you are by yourself trying to push a heavy car, it is very hard to do and obviously you wont be successful. However if others come and help you then it will be a lot easier and you will get things done.
