student success statement
"When i was teaching basketball, i urged my players to try their hardest to improve on that very day, to make that practice a masterpiece. This rule is even more important in life than basketball. you have to apply yourself each day to become a little better. by applying yourself to the task of becoming a little better each and every day over a period of time, you will become a lot better. only then you will be able to approach being the best you can be. it begins by trying to make each day count and knowing you can never make up for a lost day."
john Wooden
reflection: i myself have been stressing over something that is not even worth my time. i will try my hardest to forget about it and to focus more and more in school. i will choose the right and push myself a little harder each day to think and do the right things. i know it'll take time but sooner or later i will get used to it and my life will continue.

student success statement
The Three Don'ts
Don't whine
Don't complain
Don't make excuses
reflection: when you are taking a test do not whine and say it is a long test. Do not complain and say it too difficult. lastly, do not make an excuse if you fail the test. this is what John Wooden is trying to say in his statement.

student success statement
"The three Nevers"
Never lie
never cheat
Never Steal
John Wooden

reflection: I believe that you can achieve anything if you choose the right and never give up. for example, i am going to to the mall today and i will not steal from any store because i know it is wrong. if i am taking a test i should not cheat. and lastly i shall never lie to my parents about anything.
